Job summary

Sorenson Engineering Inc. in Yucaipa, CA, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to implement and maintain programs ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across our manufacturing facilities.

The role partners with Facility Compliance, Plant & Facilities Technicians, HR, Engineering, and Operations to identify hazards, drive improvements, and promote a strong safety culture while developing technical knowledge and cross-functional communication

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental compliance including air, water, hazardous waste, and chemical management.
• Support environmental programs such as stormwater, air quality, hazmat handling, and waste management.
• Assist inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting (OSHA, EPA, DTSC, CUPA/CERS).
• Maintain environmental and safety records and documentation.
