Job summary

ERM Consultants Canada Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Consultant to lead onsite advisory services for Fortune 500 clients in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You will navigate regulatory landscapes, develop safety programs, and drive compliance and continuous improvement across multiple sites. The role requires 2+ years of EHS experience, a related bachelor's degree, strong communication, and the ability to travel up to 40 hours per week within Northern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or related science.
• 2+ years of relevant EHS experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites in Northern California.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement safety programs addressing audits, biohazards, chemical safety, and NFPA 70E.
• Perform risk assessments, inspections, and field observations for regulatory compliance.
• Support EHS permitting, audits, and industrial hygiene evaluations.
• Collect and analyze field data; prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement EHS programs and strategies.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
