Job summary

ERM is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, to lead transformative EHS programs for technology, biopharma, and manufacturing clients. You will drive safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor a team of expert consultants across a broad client base.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant EHS experience in tech, biopharma, manufacturing or energy.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal EHS regulations.
• Ability to manage projects, budgets, and teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Willingness to travel across the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
• Driver's license required for travel to client locations across a wide area.
• Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative safety programs for local and global clients.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and industrial hygiene evaluations.
• Provide training and coaching to improve client safety performance.
• Analyze data to deliver actionable insights and reduce hazards.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business growth.
• Collaborate with ERM’s global network to solve multidisciplinary challenges.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proposals.
• Design and lead large-scale safety programs and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Deliver full spectrum safety consulting services and risk management.
