Job summary

Parker is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead the facility's Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) goals. You will report to the Plant Manager and work with plant leadership to promote a safe, compliant workplace and successfully implement EHS programs site-wide.

Responsibilities include developing programs, coordinating EHS training, handling EPA/OSHA actions, maintaining records, and partnering with Corporate EHS. This role supports lean and production teams while advancing safety culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field
• OSHA 10/30 hour or other safety certification preferred
• 2-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems while meeting production needs
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation discipline
• Experience in Ergonomics and Behavior Based Safety is a plus
• Ability to work independently and support multiple shifts if needed

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS programs and procedures to meet facility objectives
• Coordinate EHS training and support corrective actions from audits
• Manage EPA and OSHA actions in line with corporate directives
• Maintain EHS records and reporting requirements in a timely manner
• Chair EHS committees (ISO 14000/18000 where applicable)
• Support customer EHS requirements and site waste management
• Integrate EHS with Lean, HR, and Supply Chain initiatives
