Job summary

Worlds of Fun LLC is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) & Compliance Manager to support the park’s EHS programs, regulatory compliance, loss prevention, and operational risk management. This role will administer safety initiatives, audits, investigations, and training to protect guests, associates, and assets while aligning with regulatory requirements.

The position collaborates with all departments to promote proactive safety culture and deliver program administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant safety or risk field
• 3-5 years of experience in EHS, compliance, risk management, or related field
• Experience with inspections, audits, investigations, risk assessments, and corrective actions
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems (OSHA 30 certification preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Administer and support park-wide Environmental, Health & Safety programs, policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local safety, environmental, and occupational health regulations
• Conduct operational risk assessments and hazard analyses
• Investigate injuries, incidents, and near-misses; develop corrective actions
• Coordinate hazardous materials management and environmental compliance efforts
• Oversee contractor safety qualification, onboarding, and safety inspections
• Coordinate safety orientation, training, and recordkeeping
• Support emergency preparedness planning and drills
• Develop safety metrics and performance reports; present to leadership
• Lead EHS personnel and assist with budgeting and resource planning
