Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking an experienced EHS leader to drive site compliance and continuous improvement at our Valparaiso facility. You will develop and implement EHS policies, coordinate audits, and serve on the plant leadership team.

Responsibilities include managing PSM/RMP, overseeing regulatory reporting, and leading EHS training. A bachelor's degree and extensive manufacturing EHS experience are required, with preferred master's and certifications.

Qualifications

5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years in a PSM and/or RMP facility.
Strong expertise in regulatory compliance systems and permits.
Proficient in MS Office.
Ability to lead directly and by influence.

Responsibilities

Ensure activities comply with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Serve as EHS representative on the plant leadership team and for external visits/audits.
Maintain and improve PSM & RMP programs and compliance.
Prepare and file regulatory reports (UIC, Tier II, TRI, RMP).
Lead EHS training, incident investigations, and project management.
Develop and implement systematic EHS improvements.
