Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced EH&S leader to oversee governmental and internal environmental and safety requirements across manufacturing operations. The role focuses on EMS and Safety Program management with emphasis on OSHA/EPA compliance, chemical safety, and injury prevention.

Responsibilities include driving compliance programs, communicating EH&S issues across facilities, and promoting a Behavior-Based Safety culture while minimizing waste and environmental impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or Environmental Engineering/Sciences, or PE/CIH/CHMM/ CSP certification.
• 3–7 years experience in environmental or health & safety fields; or 1–3 years with a Masters.
• Experience in manufacturing operations and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication of EH&S issues with agencies and management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with governmental EH&S regulations and internal policies.
• Develop programs to address regulatory developments and achieve compliant operations.
• Lead and guide management in improving EH&S performance.
• Communicate EH&S issues effectively within the organization.
• Promote a Behavior-Based Safety culture and reduce at‑risk behaviors.
• Provide EH&S expertise across multiple facilities and conduct safety assessments.
• Collect and analyze EH&S metrics to mitigate risks.
• Plan and deliver EH&S training.
