Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in the United States is seeking an EHS Technician to support health, safety, and environmental programs. You will perform inspections, monitor compliance, and assist in incident investigations to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

The role requires 1–3 years in EHS, knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, and strong documentation skills. Proficiency with MS Office and basic EHS software is a plus. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in EHS, safety technician, or environmental monitoring.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and workplace safety regulations.
• Ability to perform fieldwork and inspections with attention to detail.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EHS software a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and work both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety and environmental inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices.
• Collect samples and perform basic environmental monitoring (air, water, noise, etc.).
• Assist in incident and near-miss investigations, documenting findings and supporting root cause analysis.
• Maintain and update safety documentation, including inspection logs, training records, and regulatory reports.
• Support the delivery of safety training and safety meetings.
• Monitor and maintain inventories of PPE, safety equipment, and emergency supplies.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist with emergency response drills and preparedness activities.
