Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Neenah, Wisconsin, offers an Environmental Health & Safety internship designed to support site EH&S issues and ISO14001 conformance across multiple Plexus manufacturing locations.

The role is a Co-Op of at least 7 months, from January 2027 to August 2027, with hands-on exposure to training, investigations, and compliance activities. You'll assist with lockout-tagout training, incident investigations, weekly waste inspections, spill prevention, and regulatory compliance,

Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field for the entire duration of internship.
• GPA 3.0 or higher is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid in Lockout Tagout training.
• Aid in Accident and Incident investigations.
• Weekly hazardous waste inspection.
• Monthly spill prevention and control plan inspection.
• Act as the primary first point of EHS contact for internal customers where assigned.
• Interface with the Corporate EHS functional management team for resources and expertise.
• Maintain compliance with county, federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
• Obtain knowledge of Plexus' manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for best EHS practices.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
