Job summary

University of Vermont’s Center for Health and Wellbeing (CHWB) seeks an IT Professional to support the EHR system, devices, and related software. You will collaborate with the IT team to prioritize requests and ensure secure, efficient IT services across the clinic, classrooms, and campus staff.

You will work with administrators, clinicians, students, and staff to optimize the EHR’s value in clinical care and information access, upholding CHWB’s mission and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field and three years of related experience.
• Experience in desktop hardware, application and website support.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments, SQL, data analysis, data transmission methods, Windows and IOS platforms, and general web technologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with outside vendors and interfacing systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and analysis for CHWB EHR system, personal computing devices, medical devices, and related software.
• Collaborate with the CHWB IT team to assess and prioritize service requests and IT projects.
• Participate in department risk assessments, security audits, and system reviews of security controls.
• Work with admins, clinicians, students, and staff to optimize EHR value in clinical work and information access.
• Support the mission and philosophy of CHWB, UVMSU, and the University of Vermont.
