Job summary

American business solutions inc is seeking an EHR & Practice Management Systems Specialist in a healthcare setting. You will collaborate with clinical, technical, and admin teams to ensure HL7 integration, data security, and reliable system operation.

Responsibilities include configuring, updating, and troubleshooting EHR/PM systems, generating reports, and providing end-user training. On-call support and HIPAA compliance are key priorities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years supporting EHR and Practice Management systems in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with system implementation, configuration and support.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hospital IT experience.
• Proficiency in HL7 and IT security best practices preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and supporting software.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Ivanti for issue tracking.

Responsibilities

• Work with development and admin teams to ensure seamless EHR integration.
• Manage and maintain EHR and practice management systems securely.
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the EHR system.
• Provide ongoing updates, troubleshooting, and data accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve platform performance.
• Generate reports to support clinical and administrative decisions.
• Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and vendor liaison support.
• Assist trainers with training programs for clinic staff.
• Analyze clinical workflows to identify optimization opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and document issues in JIRA.
