Job summary

The State of Washington is seeking an experienced IT Project Management Manager to lead the EHR project efforts within the FTAA and DIT. You will serve as the subject matter expert on EHR and ensure successful development from inception to delivery.

You will manage Epic App Analysts, Business Analysts, and Revenue analysts within HCMACS, guiding a team to deliver high-quality health information systems while navigating regulatory requirements and statewide policies.

Qualifications

• Twelve years progressively responsible experience in health IT governance or project leadership.
• Experience with DIT systems (ACES, eJAS, Barcode, Washington Connection) within the last three years.
• Strong background in leading Scrum teams and Agile product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a large Scrum team.
• Develop, articulate, and prioritize features, stories, epics, and themes.
• Drive all stages of development with active participation in each product phase.
• Identify issues and triage, elevate, and resolve.
• Transform staff and consumer experience for DSHS while addressing regulations.
• Manage the Product Roadmap for DSHS aligned with HCMACS.
• Coordinate with agencies to align priorities and activities.
• Conduct performance reviews and support team growth.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to six staff members.
• Foster a collaborative culture.
