Job summary

Astyra Corporation is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead an EHR implementation across 59 health centers and clinical staff. This 3-month contract requires on-site presence in Harrisburg, PA, two days per week, driving the project from initiation to close with strong OCM and PMO discipline.

The ideal candidate will have 7–9 years of PM experience, PMP certification for at least 5 years, and hands-on EHR/EMR health IT expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system where the customer used a paper-based charting system.
• PMP certification for a minimum of 5 years.
• Be able to work in the Harrisburg office 2 days a week as requested.
• Participate with Program Office staff in off-site meetings if required.
• 7 to 9 years of relevant Project Management experience.
• Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM) with independent customers is preferred.
• Experience with EHR/EMR, health informatics, and health IT.

Responsibilities

• Direct, administer, manage, and facilitate an enhancement, business process re-engineering, or development of a high-priority, enterprise-wide IT project of strategic importance.
• Be accountable for activities with delivery cycles of 8 to 12 months.
• Manage, coordinate, and establish priorities for the complete life cycle of projects (Planning, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation).
• Develop estimates for enhancement, business process re-engineering, or development efforts.
• Ensure new project estimates are approved by the client and agreed upon.
• Prepare periodic status reports for the project team and stakeholders.
• Report status and recommendations to senior leadership as needed.
• Follow PMI's 5 phases and PMI methodologies to ensure consistent project delivery.
