Job summary

APSI Construction Management is seeking a Construction Manager/Administrator to be on-site for the VA EHRM project at 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia. The role involves coordinating project management, scheduling, design reviews, and QA/QC across renovation and new construction efforts.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CM field experience, OSHA training, and strong communication and software skills to manage cost, time, and information flow on complex healthcare construction projects.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of construction field experience performing CM tasks.
• Completion of 3-hour OSHA Safety Training Class within 60 days of NTP.
• Working knowledge of construction practices including QA, safety, time, cost, change and information management.
• Familiarity with site operations of General and Sub-contractors and building construction operations.
• Ability to monitor construction for Quality Assurance and identify incongruities in contractor work.
• Three projects of similar scale and difficulty must be presented by the candidate.

Responsibilities

• On-site for the duration of the EHRM construction project; provide professional and technical consultative assistance.
• Assist the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative in PM, planning, scheduling and design reviews.
• Monitor quality control, cost control, testing and inspection activities.
• Convene and document weekly or bi-weekly progress meetings and review payment requirements.
• Maintain thorough records to aid VA in conflict resolution and change management.
• Coordinate testing/inspection services and ensure adherence to contract documents.
