Job summary

CHCB in Buffalo, NY is seeking an eClinicalWorks Analyst to support implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the eCW EHR/PM system. This on-site role collaborates with clinical, admin, and IT teams to optimize workflows, ensure compliance, and maintain system integrity.

You will configure, troubleshoot, and train staff, participate in upgrades, templates, and reports, and coordinate with vendors for integrated tools such as Healow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2+ years of experience with eClinicalWorks EHR in a healthcare setting.
• Proven expertise configuring and managing the eCW Healow App ecosystem.
• Experience with complex eCW cloud migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows in primary care, behavioral health, and dental settings.
• Ability to create training materials and lead staff training sessions.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and quality programs.
• Proficiency with eCW reporting modules and SQL or data extraction tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Certification in eClinicalWorks or other relevant EHR training programs.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot eClinicalWorks EHR and PM systems.
• Analyze clinical and operational workflows to optimize eCW use across departments.
• Provide support for clinical workflows, templates, order sets, and documentation tools in eCW.
• Conduct needs assessments with end-users and design customized solutions within the eCW platform.
• Customize templates, forms, and reports within eCW based on provider and organizational needs.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to ensure eCW supports patient care and compliance.
• Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and training initiatives.
• Assist in rollout of new eCW modules and updates including Healow and eCW Messenger.
• Create and maintain training materials and conduct training sessions for providers and staff.
• Analyze data for reporting and quality improvement initiatives using eCW reports or third-party tools.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to end users.
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party tools integrated with eCW.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, HRSA, and other standards.
• Train new staff and develop SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
