Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement with three years of experience, or Associate’s degree with five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains training materials for the EHR and assists in training.
• Maintains workflow documentation for processes and procedures utilizing the EHR.
• Documents changes from vendor release notes impacting EHR operations.
• Recommends changes to EHR system and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Tracks and manages requested EHR changes from conception through implementation.
• Coordinates testing of changes with stakeholders (program staff, trainers, managers, OMES, vendor).
• Coordinates implementation of EHR changes with superusers and agency leadership.
• Collaborates with EHR vendor application support staff.
• Serves as escalation point for EHR questions from trainers and management.
• Assists in planning and executing new EHR initiatives.
• Responds to escalated EHR help desk tickets and troubleshoots issues.
• Attends to EHR interface errors to ensure proper data exchange between EHR and interfaces.
• Initiates and coordinates changes to interfaces and supporting configurations.
• Maintains a change log for interfaces, codes, and configurations.
• Develops and maintains role-based security profiles in the EHR system.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development or Management, Project Management, Public Health, Nursing, Business, or related degree

Associate’s degree plus five years of relevant experience
