Job summary

TEKsystems in Louisville, KY is seeking contract-based EHR support specialists to triage documents into the EMR system. The team works with Highland OnBase to identify document types and assign them to the correct destinations such as workman’s comp, physician signatures, or external consults.

OnBase experience is a plus as is healthcare and patient-record familiarity. This onsite role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with benefits and a competitive hourly pay range.

• Experience with document handling and triage is helpful
• Customer support skills to assist users and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Identify and classify incoming documents to route into the EMR system
• Process documents within Highland OnBase and move items to the appropriate records
• Coordinate with teams via triage batches and manage workflow routing

Description

Our client is dealing with a backlog of EHR that need to be triaged into EHRsystem.

• The Techs will be working inside document manage system (Highland OnBase)

Identifying documents, processing rules and then moving them on into their EMR.

Assigned batch's of work from Highland Onbase to triage.

• OnBase experience would be highly recommended

Highland OnBase is the program used for document management.

• Anything comes in from external sources via fax lands in Highland OnBase and the EHR Tech will be assigned to move it to 1-4 special teams by identifying what type of document it is and where it goes (workman's comp, or needing to send it to the front desk for doctors signature, outside consult and just need to attach it to record, etc.)

Shift

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
