TEKsystems is seeking an experienced HR professional to facilitate employee relations and resolve complex HR issues in a fully remote contract role based out of Atlanta, GA. You will investigate cases, coordinate responses to legal matters, and advise on policies while engaging with internal clients and employee representatives.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and providing expert guidance on regulatory compliance.

  • Manage relationships with employee representative organizations and prepare briefing materials.
  • Provide specialist advice on policies and procedures and resolve queries.
  • Identify improvements and drive continuous process enhancements.
  • Draft policies and guidelines to meet compliance with external requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Engage stakeholders, identify needs, and facilitate meetings and communications.
  • Build personal capability through training and external accreditation.

Description
  • Responsible for facilitating employee relations and resolving human resources issues on behalf of the company, the handling of employee complaints, referring employees to employee assistance, and facilitating workplace adjustments. Will also advise, manage, and make decisions on a variety of employee issues.
Job Responsibilities

Employee Relations Case Management - Investigate, and propose solutions for, complex employee relations cases in liaison with line managers; coordinate the organization's response to legal cases brought by individuals; contribute to the preparation of legal submissions, and ensure all parties complete casework accurately and within deadlines.

Employee Representatives Relationship Management - Contribute to the management of relationships with employee representative organizations; build effective working relationships with trade union representatives and/or members of the works council; prepare and present briefing papers to support consultations and negotiations.

Internal Client Relationship Management - Contribute to the management of partnering relationships with internal clients, building effective working relationships and providing high-quality professional services to support in delivering business strategy and plans.

Information and Business Advice - Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues.

Continuous Improvement - Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered.

Policies and Procedures Development - Contribute to the drafting of policies, procedures, and related guidelines within an area of expertise to meet defined key principles and ensure compliance with external requirements.

Root Cause Analysis - Analyze issues that require a root cause analysis, ensuring accurate identification of underlying causes. Contribute to the implementation of suitable corrective actions.

Stakeholder Engagement - Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns, arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.

Personal Capability Building - Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Document Preparation - Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for special reports.

Data Collection and Analysis - Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.

Operational Compliance - Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. Or identify, within the team, patterns of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
