Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking a public health professional to advance the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative. The role focuses on locating and engaging HIV-positive individuals in care, performing epidemiologic functions, and coordinating service enrollment and linkage to care.

Responsibilities include assessing eligibility for Ryan White services, designing intervention strategies, and monitoring vendor performance to ensure high-quality care and treatment access for Missourians living with HIV.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of public health functions and essential services.
• Professionalism, attention to detail, initiative, flexibility, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Comfort with discussing STI/HIV topics with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine epidemiologic data collection and basic analysis for HIV program activities.
• Assess Ryan White service eligibility and assist with enrollment.
• Design and develop intervention strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Interview clients and collect required data for services and eligibility.
• Develop linkage to care plans for newly diagnosed or out-of-care individuals.
• Monitor linkage to care services and vendor performance.
