Amcor Erie, located at 2300 Powell Avenue, Erie, PA 16506, offers a full-time summer internship in Environmental Health & Safety from May 17, 2027 to August 13, 2027. You will coordinate with the EH&S team and assist with policy implementation on the production floor.

Responsibilities include supporting safety programs, audits, training, data collection, and regulatory compliance under guidance of the EH&S team.

Qualificações

• Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in EH&S, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining EH&S programs, policies, and procedures.
• Create and update EH&S documentation to support compliance and continuous improvement.
• Support safety training content development, scheduling, delivery, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct PPE and machine guarding and other safety compliance audits.
• Identify hazardous conditions and help develop corrective actions.
• Gather, analyze, and report data for monthly EH&S metrics and tracking.
• Maintain EH&S records in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and internal requirements.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, drills, and program evaluations.
• Contribute to safety and environmental training sessions for employees.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership on EH&S initiatives.
• Assist with capital project safety evaluations and documentation.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the EH&S team.
