Job summary

Novelis in Guthrie, KY offers an on-site Environmental, Health, and Safety internship for approximately 12 weeks this summer. You will join the local EHS team to gain hands-on industry experience and report to the EHS Leader.

The role includes supporting EHS and Security processes, working on an EHS-related project, assisting with Safety Committee and Training activities, and maintaining EHS documentation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation and administration of all matters related to plant EHS and Security processes.
• Responsible for an EHS-related project
• Assist with Employee engagement activities including Safety Committee and Training
• Prioritize and maintain EHS related documentation.
