Job summary

RTX's Lansing Auto Air site is seeking an experienced EH&S professional to support and execute regulatory compliance across multiple projects. You will interact with labor unions, management, and shop-floor teams on safety initiatives and audits.

The role focuses on leadership of health and safety programs, incident response, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting at the Lansing facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with EH&S regulatory compliance.
• EH&S regulatory and management systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Partner with line supervision to ensure EH&S regulatory compliance.
• Support EH&S Council administration and track projects.
• Provide technical direction to line management for goals.
• Program manager for Health and Safety programs.
• Work on cross-functional projects with other groups.
• Respond to onsite medical incidents and spill response.
• Coordinate audits and inspections and develop corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities to integrate EH&S programs into operations.
• Participate in pollution prevention and waste reduction initiatives.
• Assist management with EH&S training on the manufacturing floor.
