Job summary

Dow is seeking an EH&S Program Specialist to develop and maintain safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous safety improvements at our Fort Saskatchewan site. You will assess risks, train employees, and support the Path2Zero initiative toward net-zero emissions.

You will lead daily EH&S programs, guide plant teams on safety policies, and drive timely compliance tasks while partnering on environmental and industrial hygiene evaluations to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of EH&S, OH&S or related field experience.
• Canada candidates require legal work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily EH&S programs by applying established safety standards and procedures.
• Ensures plant operations meet EH&S performance expectations through best practices.
• Provides guidance on EH&S policies to plant teams.
• Serves as primary contact for environmental, industrial hygiene, and health & safety inquiries.
• Coaches employees on EH&S procedures and responsibilities.
• Contributes to EH&S goals and ensures timely completion of compliance tasks.
• Conducts or manages environmental and industrial hygiene evaluations and reports findings.
