Job summary

Dow Chemical is seeking an EH&S Program Specialist to develop and maintain safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety. You will support the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero initiative toward net-zero emissions and lead EH&S program execution across plant operations.

The role requires risk assessment, training, and collaboration with plant teams to uphold safety standards and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of EH&S/OH&S experience or related field.
• Canada work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Leads the execution of daily EH&S programs by implementing established safety standards and protocols.
• Ensures plant operations meet EH&S performance expectations by applying best practices in safety and environmental management.
• Provides guidance on EH&S-related policies, acting as a resource for plant teams.
• Functions as the primary point of contact for environmental, industrial hygiene, and health & safety inquiries.
• Oversees and ensures timely completion of compliance-related tasks.
