Job summary

Dow is seeking an EH&S Program Specialist to develop and maintain safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety. You will support operational excellence and lead risk assessments at the Fort Saskatchewan site.

This role also supports the Path2Zero initiative toward net-zero emissions, reinforcing Dow's commitment to sustainability and safe, compliant operations across the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of EH&S/OH&S or related field experience.
• Canada work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily EH&S programs by applying established safety standards and protocols.
• Ensures plant operations meet EH&S performance expectations through best practices in safety and environmental management.
• Provides guidance on EH&S policies and acts as a resource for plant teams.
• Functions as the primary contact for environmental, industrial hygiene, and health & safety inquiries.
• Coaches employees on EH&S procedures and responsibilities.
• Contributes to EH&S goals for the plant and oversees compliance-related tasks.
• Conducts environmental and industrial hygiene evaluations and reports findings for regulatory adherence.
