Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Coordinator to support site programs, inspections, audits, and training in a Gallatin, Tennessee facility. You will help manage records, regulatory compliance, and incident investigations under the EH&S Manager's direction.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and a commitment to safety. A bachelor’s degree in safety or related field and OSHA-related credentials are preferred, with relocation not

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire.
• 2–5 years of EH&S experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Experience with ISO 14001/ISO 45001 and EH&S management systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support EH&S program administration, compliance, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and hazard identification activities.
• Coordinate EH&S training and onboarding for employees.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Track EH&S metrics, data management, and regulatory submissions.
• Support emergency preparedness and response planning and drills.
