Job summary
Simpson Strong-Tie in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Manager, Environmental, Health & Safety to lead site safety, environmental programs, and regulatory compliance within our manufacturing operation.
You will develop EHS strategy, drive risk reduction, mentor leaders, oversee investigations, and partner with plant leadership to embed safety and sustainability into daily work.
This position offers a competitive salary, relocation not provided, and eligibility for bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety or related field.
- CSP certification is required.
- Advanced credentials (CIH, CHMM, Lean Six Sigma) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage site EHS strategy, programs, and standards.
- Lead risk assessments and apply data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local EHS rules.
- Drive culture of safety ownership and engagement.
- Coach leaders and develop EHS talent.
- Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions.
