Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Gallatin, TN, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Coordinator to translate requirements into practical daily activities. You will support program administration, inspections, training, incident investigations, and data management under the EH&S Manager.

Requires 2–5 years EH&S experience in manufacturing, OSHA 30-Hour GI, and related credentials. Travel up to 10% domestic; relocation not offered; strong organizational and communication skills valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, engineering, EH&S management, or related field preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry preferred or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• OHST/ASP or related credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support EH&S program administration, compliance, and recordkeeping.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and hazard identification; track corrective actions.
• Coordinate EH&S training; onboard new employees.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigation, and root-cause analysis.
