Job summary

Dow in Canada is seeking an EH&S Program Specialist to develop and maintain safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous safety improvements at the Fort Saskatchewan site. You will lead incident investigations, manage risk assessments, provide training, and support the Path2Zero initiative toward net-zero emissions.

A High School Diploma and 3+ years in EH&S are required. Dow offers competitive compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities with relocation not provided

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of EH&S/OH&S experience or related field.
• Canada-based candidates must be authorized to work; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily EH&S programs by applying safety standards and protocols.
• Ensure plant operations meet EH&S performance expectations and compliance.
• Provide guidance on EH&S policies and act as a resource for plant teams.
• Serve as primary contact for environmental, industrial hygiene, and health & safety inquiries.
• Coach employees on EH&S procedures and responsibilities; promote safe practices.
• Contribute to the development and achievement of EH&S goals and ensure timely completion of tasks.
