Job summary

Amgen is seeking an EHSS Manager - Risk Management at our FleX Batch facility in North Carolina. You will lead the execution of EHSS risk management, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across biotech manufacturing operations.

You will collaborate with global EHSS teams, regulators, and site leadership to minimize hazards, manage risk plans, and maintain robust EHSS programs that support production readiness and safety culture.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or equivalent based on experience.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years EHS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years EHS experience.
• Associate’s degree with 8+ years EHS experience.
• High School Diploma with 10+ years EHS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage EHSS risk management across projects.
• Lead hazard communication, risk management, and high-risk processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of EHSS programs.
• Identify hazards and apply risk-based solutions.
• Develop and implement risk plans and controls.
• Collaborate with Industrial Hygienist and global teams.
