Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Test Engineering Manager for the Lunar Permanence unit. You will lead the EGSE team in designing, building, and commissioning rack equipment for lunar testing, coordinating across departments to ensure safe, reliable test execution.

You will drive career development, oversee performance and promotions, and deliver solutions with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in spaceflight programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups with responsibility for career management of employees.
• 6+ years of experience in at least one specialty area applicable to space flight.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary development and verification tests, including managing requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost.
• Demonstrated leadership in establishing a high-performing safety culture.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the EGSE team supporting Lunar, coordinating across product teams and test engineers.
• Execute test procedures and verification activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coach team members on career development and performance management.
• Travel ~25% (up to 50% during remote testing periods) to support testing at remote sites.
