Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, seeks an EGSE Engineer to design, deploy and support ground test equipment validating flight hardware and satellites. You will work with ATLO, Electrical Design and Manufacturing to deliver EGSE on schedule and within budget.

The role requires hands-on EGSE/HIL experience, LabVIEW/Python/C/C++ programming, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. This position is based at our U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 3–5 years of work experience in EGSE, test systems or HILs.
• Hands-on experience with EGSE and test equipment such as DMMs, e-loads, oscilloscopes.
• Proficient with Ethernet, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485 signal integrity, grounding and shielding.
• Software/firmware development in LabVIEW, Python or C/C++.
• Ability to obtain US citizenship and security clearance; final clearance post-start.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of EGSE racks and test enclosures.
• Create mechanical layouts, electrical schematics, harnesses and drawings from requirements through first article build.
• Coordinate schedules, risks and budgets for HILS and EGSE designs.
• Collaborate with systems engineering on software architecture and MBSE documentation.
• Develop software to control, monitor and log test sets, EGSE and HILS.
• Help maintain DevSecOps pipelines for software deployment to hardware.
• Provide hands-on support during test campaigns and on-site deployment.
• Take ownership of projects with minimal supervision.
