Job summary

Elevation Church in Matthews, NC is looking for an eGroup Leader Coordinator to develop, coach, and empower eGroup leaders across time zones. You’ll recruit, onboard, and train new leaders, then create community through effective communication strategies that work across countries and campuses.

This role follows a Sunday–Thursday work pattern with in-office hours Monday–Thursday (8:30 AM–5 PM). You’ll help grow online campus communities, adapt quickly, and bring your full self to every project

• Highly organized/administrative with strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Leadership strengths in executing tasks and coordinating groups.

• Develop initiatives to grow eGroups on the online campus.
• Support Sunday–Thursday operations and adapt strategies for weekend needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You’ll develop new and existing eGroup leaders by holding regular meetings, providing coaching and developmental guidance, and offering training.
• You’ll recruit and onboard new eGroup leaders and provide training.
• You’ll create community by facilitating group assignments and developing communication strategies that are effective for eGroup leaders across countries/time zones.
• You’ll develop initiatives to grow eGroups on the online campus.

MUST-HAVES

• Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)
• Highly organized/administrative
• Strong ability to build relationships and provide a high level of customer service
• Leadership strengths in the executing domain
• High level of communication skills, written and verbal
• Flexibility to travel when necessary

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting
• Prior experience with Elevation Church eGroups
• Experience with online/digital communities

Day-to-Day:

• We’re a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we’re in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we’re supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
• There’s a lot to accomplish each week, so we’re pretty fast-paced. We’re also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
• Yes, we work hard. But we’re good at playing hard, too. We’re a creative staff, so there’s no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
