Job summary

Daybreak Foods in Wisconsin is hiring a Sanitation Technician to clean and sanitize egg processing equipment daily, following a rotating schedule of three days one week and four the next. The position reports to the Processing Supervisor and supports a safe, compliant production environment.

Responsibilities include disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling equipment; handling chemicals and high-pressure cleaners; maintaining GMP practices; keeping documentation up to date; and

Qualifications

• Previous food plant sanitation experience is desirable.
• Egg-specific equipment training will be provided.
• Familiarity with GMPs or equivalent practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble processing equipment daily.
• Work with chemicals, high-pressure cleaning equipment, manual scrubbing, hoses and small tools.
• Maintain training on equipment, chemicals and MSDS.
• Review sanitation chemicals with supervisor for use, mixing and appropriateness.
• Maintain records and paperwork.
• Follow GMPs.
• Maintain equipment and keep in good repair.
• Other duties as assigned.
