Job summary

Cooper Farms is seeking a 1st shift Production Associate for our Liquid Egg Processing team in Fort Recovery, OH. Starting wage is $17.50/hour with the potential to rise to $17.70 after 90 days, plus monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses.

As part of the role you will perform Loader/Material Handler tasks, Candler, Breaker and Scanner duties to ensure safe handling of eggs and smooth production. Training is provided; must be 18+, able to stand long shifts, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Loader/Material Handler: lifting stacks of flats of eggs onto the loader conveyor.
• Candler: recognize and remove any dirt, rotten, blood and leaking eggs.
• Breaker: recognize and remove any shells or blood in the cups.
• Scanner: identify and remove any eggs that could create contamination.
