Job summary

Michael Foods Wakefield facility is seeking an egg processing operator to monitor temperatures, machine speeds, tank levels, and packaging quality. You will document data, perform routine quality checks, and ensure safety and sanitation are maintained across shifts.

The role requires basic math, English reading/writing, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and weekend work may be required to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to obtain forklift and pallet jack licenses.
• Read/write English; basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in cold/noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Check egg temperatures, machine speeds, and tank levels.
• Document data and reports per HACCP requirements.
• Perform quality checks on incoming raw egg and finished product.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Maintain sanitary conditions and follow GMPs.
