Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. Wakefield facility is seeking an Operator to monitor egg production, check quality, and maintain safety procedures. You will document data, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and assist with packaging while ensuring compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain forklift and pallet jack operator’s license.
• Ability to read written, oral, and diagram/schedule instructions.
• Good math and basic computer skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Safety minded and GMP compliant.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and production equipment; perform safety checks and documentation.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and support safe, efficient production.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; manage packaging and labeling tasks.
• Maintain sanitation, document data, and report issues to leadership.
• Follow GMP and HACCP guidelines; ensure correct temperatures and speeds.
