Job summary

Daybreak Foods is seeking a Processing Line Worker for our Food Processing (Eggs) operation. Under the direction of the Processing Supervisor, you will perform various tasks to ensure the highest quality product possible and adhere to required safety protocols.

Key responsibilities include maintaining food safety and quality standards, operating egg processing equipment, and supporting cleanup to USDA standards after production.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or processing desirable.
• Safety programs and processes, such as Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, etc.
• Equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Food Safety and Food Quality: Follow HACCP, SQF, cGMP and regulatory protocols; prevent contamination; verify product quality; maintain hygiene compliance.
• Operations: Grade and align eggs entering the washer; manage transfer between conveyor and station; keep area clean; perform chemical checks and foam control; grade eggs from washers; assist during breaks and cleanup; remove bad eggs and shells.
• Cleanup duties to meet USDA standards in Breaking, Transfer and Shell rooms after production shift.
