Job summary

Daybreak Foods, Inc. is seeking a Processing Line Worker for our Egg processing operations. Under the supervision of the Processing Supervisor, you will perform multiple tasks to ensure a high-quality product and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities include grading eggs, managing transfers between belt, washer, and breaking stations, maintaining cleanliness, performing chemical checks, and assisting with breaks and shutdown cleanup in USDA-regulated areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Manufacturing or Processing desirable.
• Familiarity with safety programs and GMP/HACCP practices.

Responsibilities

• Grade and align eggs entering the washer section.
• Ensure smooth transfer of eggs from main belt to the accumulating station.
• Keep area clean and manage inedible materials.
• Clean washer screens and perform chemical checks; rewash eggs as needed.
• Grade eggs from washers per SOP.
• Assist during breaks and clean up after shifts.
• Grade broken eggs and remove bad eggs and shells.
• Perform USDA-compliant cleanup in breaking, transfer, and shell rooms after production.
