Job summary

Daybreak Foods is seeking a Processing Line Worker to support egg processing operations under the Processing Supervisor. The role focuses on maintaining the highest quality product by following rigorous food safety and hygiene standards.

Key duties include managing egg grades, operating washers, and ensuring correct transfer between stages while maintaining plant cleanliness and adhering to HACCP/SQF protocols. The position requires teamwork and flexibility during shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or processing desirable.
• Safety programs and processes, such as Confined Space, LOTO, HazCom, etc.
• Equipment operation and safe handling of machinery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HACCP, SQF, and regulatory protocols are followed.
• Grades and aligns eggs entering the washer section; smooth transfer to accumulating station.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene; monitor for contamination; assist as needed during breaks and cleanup.
• Grades broken eggs and shells; perform post-shift cleanup to meet USDA standards in relevant areas.
