Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
• Previous work history will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Collect eggs, place in plastic flats, and mark per line identification standards; record number of eggs laid per flock.
• Provide daily care of flock by calculating pounds per pen and recording data, weighing with scales, and distributing feed.
• Monitor flock for signs of injury or illness and report to lead/manager; collect and dispose of flock mortality.
• Maintain flock environment by flushing water lines, bedding, nests, and removing dust with a blower.
• Other duties may be assigned; operate tools and vehicle as needed.
