Job summary

Cobb - Bear Hollow Farm in Pineville, MO is seeking a Hatchery Processing Laborer. You will inspect eggs for quality, process day-old chicks, vaccinate and wing band, and help keep the hatchery clean and sanitary.

The role requires standing for long periods and following strict biosecurity rules; shift is 1st shift with schedule changes as production dictates. Benefits start on day one of full-time hire.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major employment gaps in the past 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepares eggs for incubation by grading eggs while transferring pedigree eggs and packing eggs for international orders.
• Processes day-old chicks by counting, vaccinating, wing banding and delivering chicks within the complex.
• Maintains sanitary environment by operating tray washer, high-pressure sprayer and cleaning hatchery areas.
