Job summary

The State of Alaska, Department of Revenue, Division of Child Support Services, is seeking an Accounting Technician 3 in Anchorage. You will manage EFT and debit card disbursements and assist with trust account reconciliation to ensure accurate, timely payments to families.

This role requires solid accounting knowledge, detail orientation, and strong communication skills to interact with multiple systems and stakeholders within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with EFT and debit card programs desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
• Ability to balance accounts and prepare financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage EFT and debit card program disbursements for CSSD.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EFT issues.
• Balance CSSD trust accounts and reconcile deposits and transactions.
• Review financial reports across NSTAR, TSO, and banking systems.
• Provide backup support to the Finance Section with accounting duties.
• Demonstrate advanced accounting knowledge and accuracy.
