Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking an EFT Processor II to handle cardholder disputes and support the EFT department. The role involves responding to FISERV requests, processing disputes, and assisting with travel queues as needed.

You will work to maintain compliance with Regulation E and NACHA while delivering excellent customer service. The position requires an Associate's Degree in Business Administration or Finance (preferred) and readiness to collaborate with Contact Center and branches to resolve

Responsibilities

• Process incoming cardholder disputes in line with bank policies and procedures.
• Apply provisional and final credits to customer accounts when applicable.
• Respond to FISERV requests promptly.
• Investigate and escalate fraudulent or suspicious claims per policy.
• Ensure compliance with Regulation E and NACHA requirements.
• Provide operational support within the EFT Department.
• Respond to inquiries with strong customer service within established timelines.
• Serve as SME for all Dispute related transactions and maintain procedures.

Job Description

Overview

The EFT Processor II will be responsible for processing EFT Cardholder Disputes, assisting Contact Center and branches through e-mail and phone, respond to FISERV requests, process EFT disputes, assisting with travel queues when needed.

Essential Functions

• Process incoming cardholder disputes while strictly adhering to all bank policies and procedures
• Processing provisional and final credits to customer's account with disputed items when applicable
• Ensure timely response to FISERV's request
• Investigate and elevate suspicious or fraudulent claims in accordance with policies
• Process EFT disputes
• Ensure compliance with all established Federal Regulations for Regulation E and NACHA
• Perform all operational support duties within the EFT Department
• Respond to customer or business partner inquiries with exemplary customer service in the established timeframe
• Participate in job specific trainingServe as subject matter expert for all Dispute related transactions
• Maintain department procedures
• Be efficient in additional assigned duties FICO, travel work queues, auto generated letters, and monitoring faxes.
• Determining dispute decisions for approval/denial according to Regulation
• Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
• Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
• Work as part of a team
• Work with on-site equipment
