Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the distribution center operations in Walton, KY. You will handle merchandise movement, palletizing, and loading/unloading activities, while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

The role requires ability to operate RF devices and basic warehouse equipment, with a preference for prior DC experience. Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with warehouse management systems are valued.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in communication with coworkers and management.
• Ability to perform basic math
• Familiarity with RF terminals and warehouse equipment is preferred.
• Experience in automated distribution centers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise within the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Verify received merchandise against orders and document discrepancies.
• Identify, label, and palletize items for storage or shipment.
• Replenish pick areas and fulfill store orders.
• Load outbound merchandise into trailers or trucks.
• Report damages and vendor issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with supervisor to resolve problems and discrepancies.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and quality standards.
