Job summary

Qualifications

• Communication skills to interact with coworkers and management and to complete records.
• Basic math concepts for counting and auditing.
• Ability to use a Radio Frequency Unit.
• Ability to learn operations of motorized merchandise movement equipment.
• Must maintain annual certification requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in an automated distribution center preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise within the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Verify and audit merchandise against orders and record data.
• Identify, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.
• Replenish pick areas according to reports and requests.
• Fulfill store orders by selecting items and moving to conveyor.
• Load outbound merchandise into trailers.
• Report damages or vendor issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with supervisor to resolve problems and discrepancies.
• Meet safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
