Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will safely and efficiently perform a variety of duties within PBV’s warehouse operations to support customers and meet business goals.

Responsibilities include receiving, packing, counting, palletizing, and operating material handling equipment. We value integrity, teamwork, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift skills assessment pass required.
• Six months forklift experience preferred.
• Strong math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to read labels and load tickets.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and quality of products from vendors and to customers.
• Handle check-in/check-out duties and maintain records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets).
• Count goods returned and those damaged, full, or empty.
• Interact with automation systems and pick systems to verify and record products; build pallets.
• Identify machine faults and perform basic maintenance on automation systems.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products.
• Perform safety and pre-trip checks on machinery.
• Keep work area clean and organized; perform janitorial tasks as needed.
• May handle yard switching: move trailers between locations.
• Follow GMP and food safety guidelines; ensure accuracy of work.
• Other duties as assigned.
