Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Warehouse Associate to join our team. Safely and efficiently performs duties within PBV’s warehouse operations to support internal and external customers, including pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, building pallets, wrapping, transporting, counting, and quality checks.

The role requires adaptability to facility variations and strict adherence to safety and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV equipment.
• Six months forklift experience preferred.
• Computer/HMI skills required.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Sorting and grouping skills required.
• Able to read and understand product labels and load tickets.
• Able to count large quantities of products and materials.
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse with hot/humid or cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and quality of received and shipped products.
• Maintain records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets) per SOPs.
• Count goods returned to the plant.
• Interact with automation systems and verify pallets and product load order.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on automation systems.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Perform janitorial tasks to maintain a clean workspace.
• Follow GMP and food security rules and guidelines.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of work.
