Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support distribution operations in NC. You will safely perform receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and loading duties, following quality and food-safety standards.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to read tickets and labels, and strong math and communication skills. You will operate various material-handling equipment and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass forklift skills assessment.
• At least six months forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand load tickets and product labels.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate-controlled.

Responsibilities

• Verifies accuracy and quality of products received from vendors and shipped to customers.
• Performs check-in/check-out duties and maintains records (BOLs, receivers, pick tickets) according to SOPs.
• Counts goods returned to the plant by sales and delivery personnel.
• Interacts with automation systems and pick tickets or other warehouse management systems to verify and record products.
• Operates forklift and other equipment to store, stage, and load products.
• Performs safety checks and routine maintenance on equipment and keeps area clean.
• Adheres to GMP and food safety guidelines and performs janitorial tasks as needed.
