Responsibilities

• Pre-registration and registration of patients at the point of service.
• Identify and verify payer information and benefits eligibility.
• Coordinate referrals to financial counseling and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Ensure timely data gathering and entry of demographics and benefits in the system(s).
• Maintain HIPAA, EMTALA and other regulatory compliance; use AIDET to provide excellent customer service.
